To any who think of himself as Salvatore... (Draft)

I´d like to tell those who feel as “Salvatores” (who are invited to remove their speech of hate in their cynical religious zeal) that Atwill´s book is just a THEORY, as he already said (here are some citations): “The theory of a Roman invention of Christianity does not originate with this work. Bruno Bauer, a 19th-century German scholar, believed that Christianity was Rome's attempt to create a mass religion that encouraged slaves to accept their station in life.” (Pag 36) “My theory is also solid in the sense that it is so easily disprovable.” (Pag 146) “This is the simplest theory and should be maintained until another explanation is shown to be more plausible.” (Pag 176) “When determining the strength of a theory it is useful to consider how much "explanatory power" it possesses.” (Pag 248) “I have […] because it contains many points central to my theory.” (Pag 265) “Josephus' successful effort in overlaying Daniel on events in the first century, in a way, provides support for my theory.” (Pag 273) “Such a miraculous occurrence could not happen by chance and supports the theory that Josephus has falsified history to show that Christianity was God's replacement for Judaism.” (Pag 291) By the end of page 11 Joseph Atwill clearly said: “I did not want to contribute to the cynicism of our age.” Yet some people like to be contemptible “smart” (and unkind) when responding to a given opinion of a theory. Blatant sarcasm is not noticed as a trigger bringing more animosity… No matter they think they´re perceived as modest & unpretentious. Those few ones pretending to be self-effacing –publicly & functionally– are like those self-righteous (Matt 27:42; Mk 15:32), giggling ruthlessly at things they don´t understand; but just being naturally disparaged, to “undermine” the thought of others (showing who they really are when belittling). Here´s an example from the books you read: “They answered and said to him, […] and DO YOU TEACH US? And they threw him outside.” (Jn 9:34) The traditional “Jesus”, far from being the world´s “Salvatore”, he literary blamed both, the Jewish race and –if “he” ever existed– he libeled “his” own generation. When “he” said: “[…] the blood of all the prophets ––which has been shed from the foundation of the world–– may be required from this generation, from the blood of Abel until the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the House. Yea, I say to you, it will be required from this generation.” (Lk 11:50-51) When the one who wrote Matthew said: “The [Jewish] people answered, "We will take full responsibility for his death. You can blame us and even our children!"” (Matthew 27:25) Here are 3 questions: 1. Present-day Jews were represented by an unnumbered paid/manipulated mob? 2. Could I blame a whole State (or religion) when 20 terrorists attacked the Twin Towers & the Pentagon? 3. Could a whole race (or tribe) be accountable for distinguishable faults, or by individual crimes or sins? Let´s check the Scripture. 1. “Yahweh said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, him I will blot out of my book. […] Nevertheless, in the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”” (Éxo 32:33-34) 2. “Parents are not to be put to death for crimes committed by their children, and children are not to be put to death for crimes committed by their parents; people are to be put to death only for a crime they themselves have committed.” (Deut 24:16; 2Cron 25:4) 3. “Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way –to turn from it- and he doesn’t turn from his way; he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.” (Eze 33:9) 4. “For I am with you, declares יהוה, to save you. […] But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished.” (Jer 30:11) 5. “Instead, […] everyone will die because of their own sin.” (Jer 31:30) Conversely! No a single man could be liable –as redeemer– to sort all things out and let´s say I was redeemed… Why do I keep myself sinning? I regret I sin! I dislike to deceive, as well as to be cheated. So, it´s a sophistical mistake a “man” had ever said that peers and “generations will be responsible for the crimes…” others had committed. If the “old” Scripture could be believed as a trustworthy written account of inaccessible daylights, God´s anger never was extinguished “by the judgement or consensus of personalities” … However, a made-believe tale says, so and so: “Ninevites will stand to judge (and condemn) Israelites” (Mat 12:41) or that a single woman “coming from the ends of the earth” would lecture, as a judgmental African queen –the whole Israel– for separable “communal” transgressions (Mat 12:42). I´m not a big shot to say this and this, but I´ve seen God is just and fair. Moreover, if I´m permitted I´d like to say, could a single Jesus be the “Salvatore” (savior) of humankind? Just send him ––now–– to stop the war between Russia & Ukraine… (It´s more than a year they combat unceasingly.) No man had to die to pacify humanity. How many persons died —at the flood or during the 2 world wars? No man can redeem what´s lost, except the Only One God. There was a time when Israel knew simple things: “This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says: “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.” (Isa 44:6) “Yahweh –your Redeemer– the Holy One of Israel says: “I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.” (Isa 48:17) “I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they will be drunk on their own blood, as with sweet wine. Then all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (Isa 49:26) As far as I could be perceived slow or retarded, my limited brain retained that I have read that “the Messiah will bring peace, not dissensions or swords” {“He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; […] Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” [Isa 2:4; Mic 4:3]}. Let´s compare current lifetime to clearly see… What type of “Peace” have brought the Roman Jesus into the world? It was said that the Anointed or Messiah was to produce an outgoing trend to compel a widespread social rearrangement, a dear inclination of fathers towards their overlooked sons, from daughters to grip on their forgotten mothers (Mal 4:6). Yet, the false one said the opposite thing: “Do you think I came to bring peace to earth? No! I can guarantee that I came to bring nothing but division.” (Luc 12:51). If “Jesus” was the expected/chosen king “he” should have been what the Scripture said he will be... Yet, the known “historically” character clearly said: “They will be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” (Luc 12:53) Who should I believe? Israel anticipated a born child who would be well known and well named: “For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isa 9:6) Israelites do not see those days they once understood. “Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with JUSTICE and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.” (Isa 9:7) By the 70 C.E., Roman armies destroyed their celebrated Temple, and intellectuals quickly changed (portions) of their messianic hopes and their messed “aggressive” literature (The DSS shows they had some militaristic writings). There would be a day when God will speak —shaking heavens & earth— “saying, ‘I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots, and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother’.” (Hag 2:21-22) How many sacred names will be invoked? “And יהוה shall be Sovereign over all the earth. In that day there shall be one יהוה, and His Name one.” (Zac 14:9) “And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev 11:15) Psa 2:8, Psa 22:28, Dan 2:44, Dan 7:13-14, Oba 1:15-21 As it was well said that the Messiah will bring long-lasting peace... His reign wouldn´t be permissive or soft (“Break them with a rod of iron, dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.” [Psalm 2:9]) And it won´t pass away (“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and IT WILL STAND FOREVER.” [Dan 2:44]) since, after an unidentified judgement, a notorious Scripture says: “The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole sky, will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and ALL DOMINIONS WILL SERVE AND OBEY HIM.” (Dan 7:27) Were the ancient Roman troops pieces “of divine judgement” over Israel´s secular worthless? As we already believe/know –none in the world– nobody in the Roman Vatican (or at Zion) is ruling that long-lasting kingdom foretold. If we read the Pentateuch, we´ll see the Israelites were used –as bloody swords– to throw out those devilish tribes around Palestine and, at the long run, Israel wasn´t any better than those who towns which worshipped idols. We never read/heard what type of cult Sodom or Gomorrah revered. However, it could be easily assumed it was anything perverted or idolized… If I said anything more than now, some people could feel offended… They worship or respect what they think it fits. And here it is what the Psalmist said: Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate emptiness? The sovereigns of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against יהוה and against His Messiah, and say, “Let us tear apart their bonds, and throw away their ropes from us.” He who is sitting in the heavens laughs, יהוה mocks at them. (Psalm 2:1-4) I wish He really had His Anointed (and bunches like him). I wish the taxes people pay were well used, and not wholeheartedly wasted. Those who currently rule a county, a city or a nation are not worthy for such high position… And people voted in blind faith. “He subsequently became an administrator of the Jesus cult.”
